Prof. Keong-Suk Park

Keong-Suk Park is a professor of Sociology department, Seoul National University.

 

Her main research areas are demography, gerontology, and social inequality. She has done extensive work on population and aging issues, family, and the elderly life in East Asian societies. Current research includes family-population in the late Chosun (1650-1900), regional demography, women’s life course and identity, and modernity and patriarchy embedded in the life history of Korea and Japan elders.
